We get a number of requests about the layout of our rooms, bedrooms in particular. Of course, the best thing is to see it for yourself. Barring that, we've pulled together a map and some pictures to try and help you visualise the space...

Stunning main bedroom with king-size bed and walk-out deck: located on the second floor, this bedroom overlooks the lake, has an ensuite three piece bathroom (below), and a sitting area with skylight.

Spacious ensuite bathroom: The cathedral ceilinged ensuite bathroom to the main bedroom has lots of room to spread out with a double sink, bath, and shower. It also has a very unique feature of a "porthole" to allow the light in from the skylight in the bedroom (far right picture).

Bright room for singles or couple: also on the second floor, this room is laid out for the convenience of dividing the two twin beds (for individuals) or pushing the beds together to create a double (for a couple). There are also some nice, thick curtains in this room to block out the light, if you so desire.

Cathedral ceilings in 2 x twin bunkbed room (sleeps 4): the third and final bedroom on the second floor has a lovely wooden panelled cathedral ceiling and two twin bunkbeds (sleeps 4). The bunkbeds are a new addition, and unfortunately, we haven't updated the pictures yet, but this is still the look of the room itself. Stay tuned, we hope to update them shortly!

Upstairs bathroom convenience: across from the bedrooms on the second floor is a conveniently located bathroom with shower and bath; no need to run all the way downstairs in the middle of the night!

All bedrooms are well equipped for a pleasurable visit: there is a large double closet in each bedroom as well as a chest of drawers; each room also has both ceiling and table lamps and clock radios; for those of us who appreciate the low lighting in the middle of the night, many of the table lamps can be turned on at a switch on the wall.

Quick visit "loo": On the first floor, located between the kitchen and the two living rooms/lounges, is a small bathroom with a sink and toilet.

Another full bathroom downstairs too: On the first floor, between the two bedrooms, there is also a spacious fourth bathroom with sink, bath and shower.

Twin bedroom can be separated from the rest of the cottage for quiet time:
Both this bedroom and the downstairs double bedroom have a hallway door that allows them to be virtually separated from the rest of the cottage. With an outside door accessible through the "map room" (or spare room), this is ideal for sharing the cottage with another family!
