Sparrow Lake offers Walleye, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Muskie, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie and Bluegill. In addition, you may find Bluntnose Minnow, Bowfin, Brown Bullhead, Carp, Channel Catfish, Golden Shiner, Logperch, Muskellunge, Pumpkinseed, Redhorse Sucker, Rock Bass, Troutperch, White Sucker, Yellow Perch, and Yellow Pickerel.
Some have wondered whether fish stocks have been depleted in the Muskoka lakes, but have no fear! The Ministry of Natural Resources has instigated stocking programs and careful management strategies to maintain a healthy game fish population. Many anglers also contribute with catch-and-release efforts.

What's the Water Depth in Sparrow Lake?
Sparrow Lake is a shallow, fresh water lake and is part of the Trent-Severn Waterway. The lake is about 1.5 kilometres wide and 7 kilometres long. It has an average depth of about 4 metres and a maximum depth of 12 metres.
