Who Are We?Trenanthia Cottage is a family owned cottage in the Muskokas (Ontario, Canada). We've owned the cottage for a number of years, and we bought it with the express intention of sharing the great delights of Muskoka with other families. She (the cottage) loves to be filled with people enjoying the season ... whether it's summer, fall, winter or spring.There's a small group of us that work together to keep the cottage running smoothly including Lorna (being the creative magic behind the cottage design), Randy (doing a stellar job on property management), Laurie (keeping us focused and legal with everything financial), Cheryl (being the brains behind all things business oriented) and Laura (doing friendly and helpful rental coordination). Where Are We?We have a Fabulous Location on a secluded inlet off of Sparrow Lake in the southern most tip of Muskoka. Just 1.5 hours from Toronto!  Click on the map to go interactive.
With Great Access: While we're located just 10 minutes off of Highway 11, we're tucked back on a mile-long, winding, tree-lined private road with a further 400 foot long private drive (don't worry - they're all fully plowed during the winter!). And Civilization Far Enough, But Not Too Far Away: We're 20 minutes from the small city of Orillia (population 30,000), and 15 minutes from the large town of Gravenhurst (population 11,000), which makes for easy access to large retail shops as well as the quaint, independent shops typical of Muskoka.
